Procedures for snow and ice in school.
Please be aware that when there is snow or ice on the ground Mr Jennings will grit a clear path through the playground. He will not grit whole playgrounds. It is up to parents to keep children safe before school starts and aware from ice if necessary. During the school day if the snow and ice remains a hazard on the playground then for health and safety reasons children will not play out in this area. The nursery children have made us a really helpful warning sign today. They are clearly health and safety inspectors in the making!
